Welcome to Clair Isaac Art - where cherished memories meet delicate illustration. I'm Clair a 28 year old pet portrait artist and illustrator based in the beautiful countryside of Mid Wales. Working from my cosy home studio, I create hand painted artwork using a mix of acrylic and watercolour paints that celebrates the joy of animals and some of life's most special moments.

With nearly 10 years of experience creating beloved pet portraits you are in safe hands when it comes to capturing their individual character and features. I began painting animals in 2014 during my school years and then was encouraged to begin what is now know as Clair Isaac Art.
Here at Clair Isaac Art there is a wide range of various options to chose from whether you are looking for a traditional portrait for the wall or a small personalised gift, the choices are amazing.
Towards the end of 2024 I fell out of love with my art and felt so stuck and restricted with being exclusively an animal artist so I wanted to be able to expand and be able to paint and draw what I wanted but also still create my pet commissions and animal designs.
I have always loved the look of the flowy watercolour illustrations so I thought I give it a go and who know I had a talent for it so here comes a new addition to my art service. This is still a work in progress and slowly developing this section so please feel free to get in touch..
